LOOK UP!!

So these two guys are simply the best reason to always, always look all around you, especially up and of course to always have your camera with you!!

They are not on any ancient building, nor church or castle but just ordinary detached houses within a mile of each other on the same main road. 
I have absolutely no idea why! 
I have no idea of the significance!
My best guess is both the houses were built around the same time, around about 1920 and probably by the same builder. There used to be so much pride in building that it was not unknown for builders to identify their buildings with distinct features so that's what these are - but it's anybody's guess really!

One thing for sure though is that they are both strangely/weirdly rather beautiful beasts!!
